Terms of Service

1. The Service

VectorD ("we", "us", "our") operates vectord.in and the Report Maker — an AI-powered research tool that generates structured research reports based on user-submitted prompts. The service is provided via a web application accessible at vectord.in/report-maker-app.html.

Report Maker uses third-party AI infrastructure (DeepSeek) to generate reports. Reports are generated on demand and counted against your plan's monthly allowance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding agreement to use this service. By using Report Maker, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Plans & Usage Limits

Report Maker is available under the following plans, billed in Indian Rupees (₹):

• Report allowances reset at the start of each billing period. Unused reports do not roll over.
• Once your monthly limit is reached, report generation is blocked until the next period or until you upgrade.
• Free plan users are automatically provisioned on first use — no credit card required.
• Yearly plans are billed upfront for 12 months and include 2 months free.

4. Billing & Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly or yearly — at the rates shown above. Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) inclusive of any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' notice to active subscribers.

Payments are processed via our designated payment partner. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5. Refund Policy

• Unused reports in a current period — no partial refund for unused quota within a paid billing period.
• Cancellation — if you cancel a subscription, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period. No pro-rata refund is issued for the remaining days.
• Yearly plans — no refund after the first 7 days from the start of the billing period. Within the first 7 days, a full refund may be requested if no reports have been generated under the plan.
• Service errors — if a report fails to generate due to a confirmed fault on our end (not AI quality), the consumed credit will be reinstated to your account within 2 business days.

To request a refund or credit reinstatement, contact us. We review all requests individually.

6. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer

• Reports are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or technical advice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any report for any particular purpose.
• You are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.
• AI outputs can reflect biases or limitations present in the underlying model. We do not endorse the views expressed in generated reports.

7. Acceptable Use

You may use Report Maker only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or harmful
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Resell or redistribute generated reports as a service without our written consent
• Submit prompts containing personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the service
• Use automated scripts to generate reports in bulk beyond the plan limits

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

8. Your Data & Reports

Prompts you submit and reports generated are stored on our servers and associated with your account. We use this data to provide the service and maintain your report history. We do not sell your prompts or reports to third parties.

Your prompts are sent to the DeepSeek API for processing. We recommend not including sensitive personal data, confidential business information, or trade secrets in your prompts.

You retain ownership of the content of reports generated based on your prompts. You may use, share, and publish reports freely.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or caused harm to the service or other users.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your report history and account data will be removed within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VectorD and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Report Maker or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

The Report Maker application, its design, and underlying code are the intellectual property of VectorD. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand, name, or technology beyond what is necessary to use the service as described.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
